When those High Internet Speeds are available to rural areas, and that includes many many of us, then you may be correct. Until then, there is definitely a market for DVD and Blu-Ray.

People like having their favorite movies on the shelf.

Its good deal on appliances. People always look for sale and discount on various things. Also now a days economy of the world is not going good so people are facing recession problem. Therefore sale and discount are really important for everybody.

I could not agree more. DROID simply does more. Google Maps Navigation, with street view looks amazing. This will be my first non LG branded Verizon phone in 3 years. Counting down the days till I can upgrade.

While you're correct there's nothing that does DTS HD or Dolby Digital HD quite yet, Vudu does offer true 1080p/24 video. http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-10059371-1....

Tell me what streaming service will provide a 1080p picture with a uncompressed multichannel soundtrack like DTS HD or Dolby Digital HD? I'll be the first to sign up. Until then, Blu-ray is the way to go.

Just found out one more trick. You have to pay $100 to do the Gold Challenge, and $200 to do the Platinum Challenge, but if you do the Platinum Challenge they will automatically make you Gold immediately.
